🔹Product Description
Kapton Polyimide Film Tape | 1 Mil / 2 Mil (PKT1)
PKT1 and PKT2 Kapton Polyimide Film Tape are high-temperature electrical insulation tapes designed for electronics manufacturing, PCB masking, wave soldering, and powder coating applications. Made with a durable polyimide film backing and a high-performance silicone adhesive, both tapes provide excellent heat, chemical, abrasion, and solvent resistance while leaving minimal residue after removal. Their low electrostatic discharge properties help protect sensitive electronic components during manufacturing.
Both products offer the same high-performance properties. The difference is the film thickness:
- PKT1 – 1 Mil: Thinner and more conformable, ideal for precision masking and printed circuit board applications.
- PKT2 – 2 Mil: Thicker and more durable, providing increased tear resistance and added protection for more demanding high-temperature applications.
